  • Kelsi's Corner - April Tech Tip

Posted by Kelsi Wilcox Boyles on 4/19/2016

There's no doubt about it...I love Google Apps for Education!

This past year (the first year of RIU#6's Google Apps for Education initiative) I've been able to share this love with many of you during in-service days, small group sessions, and some 1:1 coaching. Some staff members have dived right in finding things they love, too. Several staff members are testing the Google waters, and others are wading nearby for additional information. Well - here's the additional information! No matter where you are in the GAFE initiative, I would encourage all of you to finish out the school year by watching these two videos and taking the Google Docs and Drive 21 Day Challenge!

Welcome to the first edition of Kelsi’s Corner- a monthly tech tip from yours truly. :-) This month we’re going to look at Graphite – a great resource to find QUALITY and RELEVANT apps, games, websites, and digital curricula for your classroom. Also, looking for a resource to share with your students’ parents OR are you a parent or grandparent yourself? Check out the bottom section about Common Sense Media – a one stop shop to find age appropriate media for children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, etc. etc.
