Training and Consultation (TaC)
The Training and Consultation Team (TaC) provides professional development to educators and administrators in the school districts of RIU6 in the areas of:
- assistive technology (AT)
- behavior
- transition
- least restrictive environment
- MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) Behavior
- MTSS Academic
Services are customized to each audience and based on effective practice.
Training and Consultation Launch Form
A Training Launch Form must be submitted for each professional development request at least 30 days in advance of the requested date. Return completed forms to the Secretary to the Director of Special Education, Tammy Starcher (tstarcher@riu6.org).
The Director of Special Education will assign requests based on the information below and staff availability. The TaC member assigned to your training will contact the LEA directly to confirm the details. Consultations will be scheduled by mutual agreement between the LEA and the Consultant.
