Riverview Intermediate Unit conducts a variety of courses and workshops for teachers, paraprofessionals, district administrators, and parents, as well as other interested individuals.
All RIU6 workshops, courses, trainings and meetings are posted to My Learning Plan (a web-based service for tracking and managing Professional Development activities for educators). To register, click on the appropriate link below and browse the offerings. Instructions are available here. All registrations must be completed online; no registrations will be accepted by phone, paper, or email.

Reminder: The participant must attend 100% of the event to receive Act 48 hours.

Effective March 1, 2017:
Registration Deadline: The registration deadline is 2 working days prior to the start of the activity. At that point, the activity will no longer be listed online.
Late Registration: Late registrations, including walk-ins, may or may not be accepted, depending upon registration numbers, availability of materials, etc. If accepted, an additional “late registration” fee of $10 will be added to the cost of the activity.
Payment: Unless there is no cost for the activity, full payment by personal check is due by the start of the activity. If payment is by personal check, a separate personal check is required for each activity, made out to Riverview Intermediate Unit with the title of the activity and the participant (if not the owner of the checking account) noted. Checks should be mailed to Riverview Intermediate Unit, Attention: Business Office, 270 Mayfield Rd., Clarion, PA 16214.
Cancellations: RIU6 reserves the right to cancel activities due to insufficient enrollment (minimum enrollment is 8, unless otherwise noted) or circumstances beyond our control. If an activity is cancelled or over-enrolled, registrants will be notified by email at least 24 hours prior to the start of the activity. When circumstances beyond our control arise, we will do our best to notify participants at the earliest opportunity. Registrants also may call 814-226-7103 ext 5253 to check for cancelled activities.
